City County Heritage Museum

About

The City-County Heritage Museum is located in the historic QA&P Railroad Depot. This facility houses exhibits that feature information and artifacts found in Cottle County and the surrounding area and is devoted to preserving rural Texas history. Exhibits unique to Cottle County include the original Marlboro Man and cowboy, and Charlie Hart, Quanah Parkers cousin. Seen only in this Hart exhibit are pictures of Quanah and family members, and a handwritten letter from son Baldwin to Paducah Rodeo Assn. Private tours are available and the facility is open for meetings.
