Heart of Texas Historical Museum

Considered "one of the best small town museums in Texas", the Heart of Texas Historical Museum is located in the old McCulloch County Jail, just west of the courthouse square. The structure is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark. The museum is home to the restored Curtis Field air control tower that was used for pilot training during the Second World War.
