Old Jail Art Center

in Exhibit

In 1968, no one took notice when an art collector inherited an old, abandoned stone jail in Albany. Today, that building is the visible anchor of an accredited art museum serving as a regional center for art exhibition and education. The museum has grown considerably since its humble beginnings in 1980. The permanent collection has over 2,200 works of artifacts from various time periods.
